Post Game Jam Update


Gameplay Updates

  • Added cooldown on player attack - Prevents oversight where player could repeatedly spam "e" and "left click" to hit once per frame.
  • Added hitbox to wizard boss - Bounces player back and prevents camping safe spot to avoid boss attacks
  • Slight adjustment to wizard scythe attack hitbox - Reduced size to feel more fair
  • Audio queue for Undead attack plays before attack - Allows player to react and dodge attacks instead of randomly being hit
  • Hitboxes of ghoul attack made more accurate - Allows for more fair representation of attack
  • Ghoul now moves within a set distance of current position - Previously teleported to random place on map
  • Small health adjustments on bosses - Balances out difficulty with new changes
  • Fixed glitch where player could get stunned and bounced outside the map by boss

Visual Updates

  • New fonts to better fit theme and for legibility
  • Brief screen shake added for visual effect (not during boss fight)
  • Labelled signs to inform players where to access controls and lore
  • Revamped win screen
  • Revamped lose screen + replay button

Audio Updates

  • Added sound effects during boss transition
  • Adjusted volumes of various effects/music
